In Pro Tools, if you assign to a mono output, the pan control simply disappears, it is no longer relevant. The signal is going to one output and one output only. Remember that if you are assigning the channel to a mono output- there is nothing to pan. This is actually how most analog consoles work, and doesn't really deprive you of any functionality. For you to assign the output of a channel to an individual output, the proper solution is to simply pan, as you have mentioned. Any comments are welcomed.zyabo- if I am understanding what you are trying to do, your situation is a bit different than sintacks'. Any comments are welcomed.īasically, how do you make individual outputs instead of the stereopairs? for example or just to be able to use each output of my interface for whatever track I want.īasicaly, how do you make individual outputs instead of the stereopairs? So how can I get each channel for each out like: Track 1 - Output 1 and so on, so I can use Pan automation of the logic and having it on a desck channel. But the thing is that it only created 3 stereo pairs of channels: 1-2, 3-4, 5-6. From what I red in the manual they are the actual outs of my interface. When I opened mixer it automaticly created outputs. Is there a simple way of selecting an output for channels to send them to the console? The outs from the channel strip are all in pairs of 1-2 to 23-24. The only way I figured out so far is assigning the out of a channel to the bus and then the bus out to let's say outs 1-2 and using a pan select whether I want an out 1 or 2.
#Logic pro 8 manual how to
I have a MOTU 24 i/o interface and would like to know how to route the outs. Need much more time to spend with it I guess.
I know it's there but I haven't properly read it yet. I couldn't find the answer in the manual. The question is how do you assign outputs to outputs of your audio interface.
Been playing with it all day long and reading the manual briefly. I have received my logic pro 8 yesterday and installed it today.
